ISLAMABAD: A meeting on the electricity situation was held in Islamabad on Monday, during which Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif directed to keep the duration of electricity loadshedding to the minimum level.
The prime minister said that power pilferage is not acceptable and strict action should be taken against those involved in it. He said that the power companies should gear up drive for recovery of outstanding bills.
On the occasion, the prime minister was briefed about the overall demand and supply of electricity.
The meeting was attended by Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif and Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali.
