ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: To strengthen bilateral ties between Pakistan and Qatar, the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is arriving Qatar on Wednesday along with a high powered delegation.
According to a news release of Pakistan Air Force here on Tuesday, Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman would accompany the Prime Minister to visit the brotherly country.
During the visit leadership of Pakistan and Qatar will discuss possibility of enhancing areas of cooperation in various defence related fields.
In line to make this visit a momentous occasion two each of JF-17 Thunder and Super Mushshak aircraft along with a PAF contingent of Pakistan Air Force have already reached Doha, to carry out a spectacular aerial display.
It will be a historic occasion when both the indigenously produced aircraft of Pakistan will be flying in the skies of Qatar for the first time. These aircraft will perform static and aerial display which would be witnessed by the Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif along with senior government and military officials from both the countries.
It is expected that activity is going to strengthen existing bilateral relations between the two countries and take it to further heights.
Pakistan is the only Muslim country which is producing a world class fighter jet side by side a state of the art trainer aircraft.
