ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will chair the meetings of the National Economic Council (NEC) and the federal cabinet on Monday afternoon through video link while being in the United Kingdom for medical treatment.
The prime minister would also address both the meetings through video facility, according to a PM House statement.
Nawaz Sharif will chair the NEC through video link from Pakistan’s High Commission in London.
During his stay in London, the Prime Minister is overseeing the affairs of the state as he was duly assisted by his Principal Secretary, Military Secretary and other staff members.
The prime minister is in constant contact with the federal ministers, cabinet members and other concerned and there are no postponements or delays in the matters pertaining to the routine functioning of the state.
