ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit the United Kingdom for a summit-level meeting later this month, the advisor to the prime minister on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz said on Tuesday.
The advisor was speaking at a reception hosted by British High Commissioner Philip Barton in Islamabad to mark the 88th birthday of Queen Elizabeth-II.
The prime minister would hold discussion with his British counterpart David Cameron on ways and means to boost bilateral trade between the two countries, the advisor said.
On the occasion, the British High Commissioner in his remarks praised Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war against extremism.
