ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will leave for Gwadar on Friday, his second visit to the Port City in a short span of one month.
In Gwadar, the prime minister will meet local fishermen.
Shahbaz Sharif will also attend the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing between Indus Hospital and Gwadar Development Authority for the construction of a state-of-the-art hospital.
Leaving for Gwadar today. Will review progress on the ongoing development work. Will also oversee the signing of MoU with Indus Hospital for construction of a world-class hospital. Development is meaningless if it does not translate into uplift of local people’s lives.

The prime minister will be given a detailed briefing on different ongoing development schemes in Gwadar including Gwadar International Airport and power and infrastructure projects.
The prime minister will also be given briefing on law and order situation.
“Development is meaningless if it does not translate into uplift of local people’s lives,” the prime minister said in a statement.
