QUETTA, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday visited the flood-affected areas of Sohbatpur district in Balochistan.
Upon his arrival, the Chief Secretary Balochistan Abdul Aziz Uqaili briefed the prime minister on the ongoing efforts to address the challenge of damages in the wake of floods.
The Chief Secretary said that more than 2,000 mosquito nets have been distributed among flood affectees in the area.
Abdul Aziz Uqaili told that Medical Camps have been established to ensure timely provision of medical facilities to flood-affected people.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif directed to expedite process for drainage of water in flood-affected areas besides restoration of basic infrastructure. He said that relief and rehabilitation activities must be accelerated in flood-stricken areas.
Shahbaz Sharif said that tents received from Turkiye would be distributed in flood-affected areas of Balochistan.
