ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) after the restoration has issued more than 14,000 certificates of registration.

According to the Registrar PMDC Brigadier (retd) Dr. Hafizuddin Ahmad Siddiqui, the council has been working efficiently and diligently to cover the backlog despite the current situation of COVID -19.

Dr. Hafizuddin Ahmad Siddiqui said that approximately 281 cases of experience new cases have been disposed of up till now.PMDC - The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) after the restoration has issued more than 14,000 certificates of registration. According to the Registrar PMDC Brigadier (retd) Dr. Hafizuddin Ahmad Siddiqui, the council has been working efficiently and diligently to cover the backlog despite the current situation of COVID -19. Dr. Hafizuddin Ahmad Siddiqui said that approximately 281 cases of experience new cases have been disposed of up till now. Moreover, the PMDC Registrar claimed that the PMDC has received 233 cases of faculty registration of which 193 cases have been sorted out hitherto. Almost 209 objections of cases have been sent back to doctors for rectification, he added.  The Registrar PMDC also added that almost 4000 verifications (local and international) have been done on an urgent basis so that the cases could be disposed of as soon as possible. Brigadier (retd) Dr. Hafizuddin Ahmad Siddiqui has directed all the sections to work and finish the pending backlog.

Moreover, the PMDC Registrar claimed that the PMDC has received 233 cases of faculty registration of which 193 cases have been sorted out hitherto.

Almost 209 objections of cases have been sent back to doctors for rectification, he added.

The Registrar PMDC also added that almost 4000 verifications (local and international) have been done on an urgent basis so that the cases could be disposed of as soon as possible.

Brigadier (retd) Dr. Hafizuddin Ahmad Siddiqui has directed all the sections to work and finish the pending backlog.
