KARACHI: At least three people including a PML-N’s senior lawyer were killed in different target-killing incidents in city during the last 24 hours on Friday.
Nemat Randhawa, legal adviser of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) gunned down while he was going home along with his son near the city area of Nazimabad, Board Office bus stop. The injured father and son were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where Randhawa succumbed to his injuries.
Karachi Bar Association condemned killing of the senior lawyer and announced to boycott all courts on Friday.
Meantime, Rabita Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) denounced the killing and demanded early arrest of the assassins.
On the other hand, some gunmen opened fire in Orangi Town area of Mominabad where 25-year Muhammed Ali was killed. Policeman Muhammed Ali was on duty at Mominabad Police Station.
