LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the victory of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Candidate in Sargodha by-election is the victory of politics of service.
On Sunday, the PML-N-backed Yasir Zafar Sindhu won the by-election of PP-30 Sargodha by securing 42,736 votes while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Rao Sajid Mehmood remained the runner up with 23,586 votes.
In a statement, Shahbaz Sharif congratulated the ruling party on clinching a victory in Sargodha by-polls, and said that the public believes in PML-N’s leadership and its policies.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the nation has shown mirror to those doing politics of negativity. He said that there is no space for the politics of anarchy.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that due to its positive politics, PML-N has become the most popular party of the Country.
The Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif also shared his happiness in Twitter over two back-to-back victories of PML-N in Senate Elections and Sargodha by-election, and expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for them.
