ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) would orgnise a series of exhibitions representing all provinces of the Country in month of August 2017.

An official of the PNCA told that exhibitions will have historic context with reference to land, life and people of Pakistan. It will culminate into national exhibition which is being revived after a long time.

She said that the national exhibition will coincide with Independence Day celebrations in August 2017.

Exhibitions will cover the following topics, from Mehergarh to Quetta, from Harappa to Lahore via Katas, from Akra to Peshawar via Takhbai, from Mohenjo-Daro to Karachi via Malki, from silk route through Karakorum, from Takhtbai to Islamabad, she further added.

All exhibitions will be curated by leading curators and the national exhibitions will be a joint curatorial exercise based on selection of works from provincial exhibitions showcasing the wonderful diversity and potential of Pakistan art.
