GUJRANWALA: Police raided a madrasah in Gujranwala on Sunday and claimed to have arrested 21 foreign students from the local seminary.
Officials said the madrasah was being run by a former MNA Qazi Hameed Ullah for the last 32 years in Sheranwala Bagh of Punjab’s Gujranwala town.
Police said the students were taken into custody for not possessing complete documents. Sources said most the students were Afghan nationals.
