LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that police reforms have become inevitable for restoration of confidence of the people in law enforcement agencies (LEAs).
In a statement on Thursday, Usman Buzdar said that reforms in police system and other sectors are need of the hour.
Usman Buzdar said that a high-level Committee has been constituted for police reforms, which would soon present its recommendation to the government.
The Chief Minister said that police system needs to be transformed as per the aspirations of the people by brining reforms.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that it is their priority to streaming the police system. He said that these reforms are aimed at to provide instant relief and justice to the people.
