KARACHI, Pakistan: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have agreed to support and also coordinate with each other in the recently elected local bodies of the metropolis.
A decision in this regard was reached between the senior members of the two parties during a joint meeting held here Tuesday at Sindh Chief Minister House.
Karachi based leaders of the two parties on the occasion extensively reviewed outcome of the LB polls and their strategy to ensure that rights of citizens are duly protected.
It was decided that the process of mutual cooperation will be further streamlined in the next meeting, to be held soon.
The meeting was attended by PPP General Secretary for Sindh, Senator Taj Haider, Information Secretary, Waqar Mehdi and other senior leaders from Karachi including Rashid Rabbani and Laal Buksh Bhutto.
PML-N, Sindh was represented by its General Secretary, Senator Nehal Hashmi,Ishtiaq Ahmed, Khurram Bhatti, Nisar Shah and others.
