ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) on Thursday unveiled its manifesto for general elections 2018 under the slogan of “BB Ka Waada Nibhana Hai Pakistan Bachana Hai”.
The PPP election manifesto 2018 was presented by the Chairman PPPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardar at National Press Club (NPC) in Islamabad.

The manifesto – which as earlier by the Co-Chairman PPPP Asif Ali Zardari would carry many revolutionary steps and programmes – emphasized on ‘Roti (bread), Kapra aur Makaan (cloth and shelter), Ilm (education), and Sehat (health).
While presenting the PPP election manifesto 2018, Bilawal Bhutto said that deepening democracy in Pakistan is part of PPP’s manifesto, adding that we will strengthen the Parliament and other state institutions.
“We will enhance collaboration among the institutions of the Country,” he said, and added that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will be re-structured by turning it to three separate entities as direct tax authority, sales tax authority and custom authority.
Bilawal said that Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto saw the dream of developing Pakistan, and to deepen the democratic roots further in the Country is part of our manifest.
The Chairman PPP said that Pakistan is facing many challenges and problems like energy crisis. He said that state’s current economic condition is unstable and intolerable.
Bilawal said that we will take out the nation from the fears of hunger and helplessness. He said that PPP will provide youth with standard education and employment.
Bilawal Bhutto said that peace and prosperity can be earned through providing trust, security and employment to the people. He said that PPP is the only party that always gave broad-based democracy to Pakistan.
The Chairman PPP said that his party believes in reforms. He said that our manifesto is the copy of reforms that we will bring once we form the government.
Bilawal said that PPP will initiate an “end Starvation” program if we come in power.
Moreover, he said that despite our sacrifices in curbing terrorism, we are facing international isolation “We will make our position in the international arena respectable,” Bilawal said.
Bilawal said that the Country remained without any foreign minister for four years. He said that we are not only under international debt rather under diplomatic loneliness too. He said that we need to be economically independent if we want diplomatically independent.
Bilawal Bhutto said that for peace in the region, we need to resolve Kashmir issue. He said that Kashmir cause the top point of our agenda.
The Chairman PPP said that PPP will start struggle to make South Punjab a separate province.
In addition, Bilawal said that PPP will make people with special needs an active part of society. He said that we will end ban on trade unions.
The Chairman PPP also said that we have to fight in war footing to save water. He said that experts anticipate drought condition in Pakistan till 2025.
Bilawal also said that censorship on media is unacceptable. He said that institutions must work within their given parameters. He said that PPP believes in supremacy of the Parliament but Parliamentarians should also respect the Parliament to be present in it.
