ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the brutal murder of a pregnant woman outside the Lahore High Court (LHC), and directed that report of the incident should be submitted in the prime minister office by Thursday evening.
A 25-year-old Farzana Parveen was stoned to death with bricks near the LHC on Tuesday morning by members of her family including father and brothers allegedly for marrying a man she loved.
The prime minister said that the occurrence of this despicable incident in the presence of police is not tolerable. He directed that those involved in the murder should be brought to justice.
