ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will undertake a day-long visit to Karachi on Wednesday.

In Karachi, the prime minister along with heads of allied parties will visit the mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam to pay homage and lay wreaths on the mazar.

Shahbaz Sharif will also visit the Chief Minister House wherein he will preside over a consultation meeting on development projects in Karachi.

Meanwhile, the prime minister held separate meetings with the heads of allied parties at their residences in Islamabad on Tuesday and discussed matters pertaining to the formation of the Federal Cabinet.

In his remarks, the prime minister expressed the resolve to move forward with the spirit of consultation, unity, cooperation and mutual trust.

Shahbaz Sharif said that we will collectively address the problems and the promises will be fulfilled.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) President Sardar Akhtar Mengal, the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) Leader Khalid Magsi, the Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) Head Shahzain Bugti, and Aslam Bootani.
