KARACHI, Pakistan: Prince Biscuits, one of the favorite biscuit brands of kids in Pakistan, collaborated with WWF Pakistan for its three-day summer camp at The Arts Council Karachi.
The summer camp was set up under WWF Pakistan’s Green School Program for children from classes one to six.
The summer camp emphasized the importance of environmental education as well as confidence building and physical development exercises. Around 20 activities were offered to the participants revolving around team building, art, recycling crafts, public speaking and public adventure while focusing on five learning areas.
Speaking on the initiative, Prince Biscuits Brand Manager Muhammad Tallal said “Prince is pleased to be part of such a productive and healthy activity. The camp is not only providing fun times to the children but it will benefit them in their personal growth and learning. It is important that we teach our children the importance of a clean and green environment for a better future. We consider it our utmost responsibility to provide such learning platforms.”
Parents were briefed on the last day of the summer camp about what their children have learned through the various activities that were held. The Green School Program is a national level campaign which engages children in structured environmental education.
