ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The State Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday said it seemed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) exercised illegal means in recently held Senate Elections.
“Asif Ail Zardari and Imran Khan are king of horse trading,” Marriyum Aurangzeb said while talking to media representatives in Islamabad.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) took notice of horse trading in Senate Elections on their plea. “PML-N believes in transparent polls,” she said.
The information minister said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was the only party that didn’t spend a single rupee for buying and selling of votes.
The minister reiterated that there was no evidence of corruption against the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
