KARACHI, Pakistan: The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Friday said that being a national level political party and an important stakeholder in national politics, PTI was gearing up for next general elections.
While talking to media representatives following his party’s meeting at Insaaf House in Karachi, Imran Khan claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was in process of being organized on strong lines across the Sindh province particularly in Karachi enabling the party to make major inroads.
“We are confident to represent all Karachiites at both national and provincial assemblies,” the PTI Chief said.
In reply to a question, Imran Khan said that PTI was ready to talk with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Panama leaks issue.
“Panama leaks is a war for Pakistan’s future. Corrupt people should be held accountable,” Imran added.
Imran Khan also appreciated Rangers for their role in restoration of normalcy in Karachi, adding that the City was close to the heart of all country men.
“Revival of law and order coupled with marked decline in the crime rates has to be top priority for every Pakistani,” Imran Khan said.
The PTI Chairman Imran Khan was in Karachi on three days visit where he also laid foundation stone of Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital and launched the PTI’s membership drive in District Central.
