PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia: Prime Minister Imran Khan and Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Mohamad on Tuesday witnessed the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Bersatu (The United Indigenous Party of Malaysia) at Seri Perdana in Putrajaya.
The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in his capacity as the Vice Chairman of PTI and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Malaysia Yahya Marzuki in his capacity as the Secretary-General of Bersatu signed the MoU.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed at an International Affairs Forum on “Vision for Regional Peace and Security” in the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) of Malaysia.

Later, Prime Minister Imran Khan left Kuala Lumpur after successfully concluding Visit to Malaysia.
The prime minister was seen off by the Foreign Minister of Malaysia Dato Saifuddin and the Minister for Defence Malaysia Mohamad Sabu upon departure at Bunga Raya Complex Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Imran Khan visited Seri Perdana, the Official Residence of Prime Minister of Malaysia, wherein he was received by Mahathir Mohamad and Mrs. Mahathir Mohamad H.E. Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah Hj Mohd Ali.
The Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad hosted a Luncheon in honour of Prime Minister Imran Khan and members of the delegation of Pakistan at Seri Perdana.
Besides an MoU between PTI and Bersatu, Pakistan and Malaysia also signed three agreements which included an Extradition Treaty for the extradition of criminals and fugitives, and social protection agreement to provide social reliefs to Pakistani labor class in Malaysia.
The two prime ministers also held a one-on-one meeting followed by delegation-level talks in Putrajaya while later on, they addressed a joint news conference.
