ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Friday said whenever his party would come into power it would curb the misuse of laws against political leaders.
While talking to media in Islamabad after being acquitted from the SSP Asmatullah Junejo torture case by the Anti-terrorism Court, Imran Khan said he was happy for being acquitted from the case.
Imran Khan said it was highly undemocratic act to file cases against them in a democratic state.
Talking about the performance of political opponents, the Chairman PTI said there was no rule of law in Sindh.
Imran Khan said there were Rao Anwar in Sindh and Abid Boxer in Punjab who committed extra judicial killings. He said Asif Ali Zardari was involved in extra judicial killings in Sindh while the Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif was involved in extra judicial killings in Punjab.
Furthermore, the Chairman PTI said Nawaz Sharif’s mental state was not stable.
Imran Khan said for the first time, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had taken action against those who were in power. He asked where would Rs 650 billion developmental budget be spent?
