ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has said that it has completed the number game, and will comfortably form governments in the Centre and Punjab.
Talking to media representatives in Islamabad on Friday, the PTI senior Jahangir Khan Tareen said that out of 13 independents elected to the National assembly, nine have joined PTI.
Jahangir Tareen said that we will form governments in Punjab and the Center while we will do a strong opposition in the Sindh assembly.

Earlier in the day, Independent lawmakers in the National assembly; Sardar Ali Mohammad Khan Mahar from NA-205 Ghotki-II and Shabbir Qureshi from NA-181 Muzaffargarh-I joined PTI. Likewise Alamdar Qureshi, elected from PP-277 Muzaffargarh-X as an independent candidate, also joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Separately, a delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM) also met the Chairman PTI Imran Khan in Banigala, and announced to support PTI.
PTI has now more MNAs than required after joining PTI by 9 Independent MNAs, 6 MQM, 4 PML Q, 2 GDA, 1 AML, PTI’s 116 and our other allies our number in National Assembly is more than 145 out of 270.
