PESHAWAR: Pervez Khattak would be the next chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial general secretary said.
According to PTI sources, the KPK province needed an experienced politician on the position.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan nominated Khattak as province’s chief minister on Monday.
According to the Election Commission of Pakistan, in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa the PTI secured 35 seats, Jamiat Ulema e Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) 13‚ PML-N 12‚ Jamat-e-Islami (JI) 7‚ Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) 7 and independents 14 in May 11 polls.
