England have already secured 8 points and with a 3.183 NRR, they are already almost through. Though Australia also have a better chance to qualify for the semi-finals and their last group match is against West Indies which haven’t been upto the mark in the tournament; however, since South Africa are still very much in the contest; therefore, Australia’s last game will determine their future in the event.
In the Points Table of Group 1, England are ahead with 8 points and followed by Australia and South Africa with 6 points each. But having a better NRR of 1.031, Australia are placed above South Africa.
Earlier on Friday, India beat Scotland by 8 wickets at Dubai International Cricket Stadium and kept their hopes of reaching the next round alive in the event.
