LEEDS, United Kingdom: Pakistan and England will meet again on Thursday at Headingley in Leeds for fourth one-day international (ODI) but it won’t make as much impact as Host have already won the five-match series 3-0.
PTV Sports will telecast the match Live from 06:00 pm PST.
Though Pakistan had not been upto the mark in 50-over game but one hoped that the remarkable achievement in Test Cricket would help Pakistan yield positive results in ODI series but it didn’t happen.
Not only Pakistan have lost the series by 3-0 against England but in last match, they conceded 444, the highest ever score in an ODI which eventually led Pakistan to face humiliating 169 runs defeat.
The third ODI between Pakistan and England witnessed some new world records which included 444 runs as highest ever score, Alex Hales’s 171 runs as highest for England and Muhammad Amir’s 58 off 28 balls as number 11th batsman.
Likewise, Wahab Riaz became first Pakistan bowler ever to concede 100 runs in ODIs.
It was England’s fourth consecutive bilateral series win against Pakistan. Of last 12 ODIs between the two teams, England have won 11 while Pakistan secured victory only in one match.
It is expected that in fourth ODI, Muhammad Irfan will replace Wahab Riaz who conceded 110 runs in his 10 overs at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
