LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Minister In-charge for Finance Sardar Owais Ahmad Khan Leghari has said that a special relief package has been provided to poor and middle class of society in the Provincial Budget 2022-23.
While addressing post budget conference in Lahore on Friday, he said that Rs 685 billion have been allocated in Annual Development program in the Punjab budget.
The finance minister said that various subsidy programs are being launched for provision of maximum relief to masses including a subsidy of Rs 200 billion on flour.
The minister said that more than Rs 53 billion have been allocated for the agriculture sector. He said that salaries of government employees have been increased by 15 percent.
