LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Minister for Housing, Urban Development, Communication and Works Malik Tanvir Aslam Awan has said that the provincial government has provided a conducive atmosphere for international investment and all available facilities are being provided to the investors.
According to a hand out, he expressed these views while addressing a road show/workshop held in Shanghai for the installation of water supply, sewerage and water treatment plants for Punjab province.
He said that various multinational companies of China, Turkey and other countries showed their interest for investment for the project.
The Minister said that Pak-China friendship is higher than the Himaliya, deeper than ocean and sweeter than honey. He said that in the hour of distress, people of both the countries stood shoulder to shoulder with each other.
He said that our sorrows and joys are common, leaders and masses of both the countries are tied in deep relations of friendship since many generations and are transferring this trait to next generation for which we can pride.
He said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor is another proof of Pak-China everlasting friendship and completion of this project will significantly enhance economic and trade activities between the two countries.
He said that China is the fourth largest economy of the world and the way it has gained ten percent growth during the last 20 years, Pakistan as a friend proud of it.
The Minister said that during the last three years, economy of Pakistan has improved substantially which attract the international investors of many countries including China.
He invited Chinese investors, companies for the investment in Punjab and assured them that their investment will remain safe as the Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has directed to provide best security arrangement to foreign investors.
