Elections 2013Qadri sees no change out of elections in the country

AHORE: Dr. Tahirul Qadri who had a historic sit in in Islamabad on Janaury 1, 2013 to change the rules of elections in Pakistan believes that institutions which have allowed the tax-evaders to take part in the general elections, are blameworthy and no real change will take place in Pakistan out of May 11, 2013 elections.

Talking to media after arriving from Canada at Lahore airport, he was of the view that May 11 elections will usher the same old faces into the Parliament, adding this system can never provide the foundation for change in the country, reports Dispatch News Desk (DND) from Lahore.

Tahirul Qadri noted as to how it is possible to exterminate corruption from the country if the basis of both the government and the opposition, is corruption.

“We do not want to become the part of this corrupt system; hence, we will organize sit-ins across the country in every city,” he asserted adding he will put forward a new system to bring about change in the country after the elections are held.

“I will present a new system after the terrible collapse of this system. And, those who are raising the slogan of change, will be left all perplexed after the elections,” he said.
