KARACHI: Former Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah is highly likely to regain the slot as his party, PPP, has secured majority of Sindh Assembly seats in May 11 general elections.
Sources said Shah is likely to be nominated as CM Sindh today, adding that the party leadership has finalized names of parliamentary leaders.
The PPP has invited MQM to join Sindh government; however, the MQM has yet to take a decision in this regard.
Pir Pagara’s PML-F is in opposition in the Sindh Assembly. On Saturday, Shahbaz Sharif, who has been nominated chief minister Punjab, met Pagara and invited him to join central government with PML-N.
