ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Vice Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the threat letter is a clear interference in the internal affairs of Pakistan.

Talking to the media persons in Islamabad on Thursday, Qureshi rejected the impression that the document is fake, saying that a Judicial Commission can be constituted to probe it.

Earlier, the Supreme Court of Pakistan turned down the PTI’s plea for an in-camera hearing on the Lettergate issue.

The PTI’s Counsel Babar Awan had asked the five-member larger bench of the Supreme Court headed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial whether an in-camera hearing is possible as his Client wanted to keep the Foreign Office’s briefing before the Court.

The Chief Justice, however, rejected Babar Awan’s request, observing that the court is not currently asking for the letter.

Meanwhile, talking to media, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Muhammad Zubair said that the current political situation is badly affecting the Country’s economy.

Muhammad Zubair said that if PTI had evidence of foreign conspiracy, it should have presented the same with the Supreme Court.
