ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday emphasized on the need to augment trade and economic ties and greater people-to-people contacts between Pakistan and Austria (Pak-Austria trade ties).
Talking to the Austrian ambassador Brigitta Blaha who made a farewell call at the Foreign Office in Islamabad, the foreign minister appreciated her efforts in promoting Pakistan-Austria bilateral relations during her tenure in Pakistan.

The Austrian ambassador reciprocated her government’s desire to further enhance cooperation between the two Countries in all areas of mutual interest.
Brigitta Blaha, in particular, emphasized on greater cooperation in the fields of trade, investment and education.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi wished the ambassador success in her future endeavors.
