Intermittent rain continued to lash various parts of the Country including the Central Punjab on Thursday night and Friday morning, turning the weather very pleasant.
As per a report by the Pakistan Metrological Department, a westerly wave is still affecting upper and central parts of the Country and likely to persist during next 24 to 36 hours.
Issuing the weather forecast for Friday, the Pakistan Metrological Department said that rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Islamabad, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Lahore divisions), upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat divisions), FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
It said that isolated hailstorm and gusty winds are also expected in Hazara, Peshawar, Rawalpindi divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and its adjoining areas.

Punjab: Kamra 11, Murree 07, Rawalpindi (Shamsabad 08, Chakala 01).
Islamabad (Z.P. 05, Bokra 02, Saidpur 01).
Kashmir: Rawalakot 20, Muzaffarabad 12, Garidupatta 04.
Balochistan: Quetta (S.M 17, PBO 10), Ziarat 02, Kalat, Panjgur 01.
Gilgit Baltistan: Astore 08, Bagrote 04, Gilgit 02.
Meanwhile, the people especially in Central Punjab expressed gratitude to Allah Almighty for blessing them with rain as hot weather had already begun to cause sufferings to them.
