ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Friday said that rain with thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Hazara division, Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country for next 12 hours while more rain-thunderstorm with snowfalls over the hills is expected at isolated places in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Gujranwala divisions and upper FATA.
During last 24 hours, rain, dust and thunderstorm associated with gusty winds occurred at scattered places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Islamabad, upper Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Rainfall recorded during this time span was Muzaffarabad 28, Garidupatta 13, Bunji 07, Hunza, Skardu 03, Gilgit 02, Chillas 01, Balakot 45, Kakul 29, Pattan 22,Kalam 21, Malamjabba 13, Kohat, Cherat 09, Dir, Mirkhani 07, Drosh 06, Saidu Sharif 02,Chitral, Peshawar 01, Islamabad (Z.P 25, Saidpur 23, Bokra 16, Golra 12), Rawalpindi (Chaklala 24, Shamsabad 19), Murree 19, Chakwal 17, M.B.Din 10, Kamra 06, Kasur and Mianwali 02.
Snowfall recorded (inches) as Astore 04, Malamjabba 03, Skardu 01, Kalam 0.5 and, Murree 0.2.
Highest temperatures recorded on Friday were Mirpurkhas 39øC, Dadu 37øC, Larkana and Mithi 36øC. Pollen count remained 409/m3.
