The first phase of annual Tableeghi Ijtema will kick off in Raiwind on Thursday, and it will culminate on November 5.
The four-day Ijtema will officially begin after the Asr Prayer with the bayan (address) of Maulana Haji Abdul Wahab.
Thousands of people from Sargodha, Khushab, Bakhar, Mianwali, Karak, Talagang, Lucky Marwat, Bannu, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Attock, Chitral, Bajaur, Dir, Sindh sans Karachi, and Kashmir as well as from abroad are attending the Part 1 of Raiwind Ijtema.Â
Earlier in the morning, Maulana Haji Abdul Wahab presided over a consultative meeting (Mashwara) for bayanat of Raiwind Ijtema 2017 Part 1, in which Ulema from India, Bangladesh, Arab, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and Africa also participated.

As per Raiwind Tableeghi Markaz, more than 200,000 Ulema-e-Karam from all over the world will attend the Raiwind Tableeghi Ijtema 2017.
Ulema, who will participate in the Ijtema from Pakistan, include Maulana Haji Abdul Wahab, Maulana Naz Ur Rehman, Maulana Ehsan ul Haq, Maulana Muhammad Ahmad Bahawalpuri, Maulana Muhammad Jameel, Maulana Abdul Rehman Sahab, Mufti Mazz, Maulana Muhammad Ramzan, Maulana Tariq Jameel, Zia ur Rehman, Maulana Khursheed, Maulana Fahim, Maulana Ahmed Battla, Mufti Habib Ullah, Bakht Muneer, and many others.
Likewise, Ulema-e-Karam from India including Maulana Ibrahim Sahab, Maulana Ahmed Laat, Mufti Younis Palanpuri, Maulana Ismael, Maulana Yaqoob, Maulana Shaukat, Maulana Omer Mewati, Abdul Rehman, Zuhair ul Hasan, Maulana Jamshed, Mufti Shahzad, Maulana Yaseen, Bhai Farooq, Noor Muhammad, Qari Saif Ullah, Dr Fateh, Professor Khalid, Professor Sana Ullah while from Bangladesh, Qari Zubair Sahab, Maulana Rabel ul Haq, Bhai Wasif ul Islam, Bhai Abdul Rehman and Bhai Kaleem Sahab will take part in Raiwind Ijtema 2017.Â
In a bid to ensure security besides deployment of security officials, 10 walk-through gates have been set up in all entry and exit points of Ijtema whereas NADRA vehicles will also be present in the Ijtema for biometric verification of participants.
The Health Department has also established a hospital and six dispensaries in which 40 doctors and other staff members will be on duty 24 hours to provide free medical facilitates to Ijtema participants.
The second phase of Raiwind Ijtema 2017 will be organized from November 9-12.
Meanwhile, Raiwind Tableeghi Markaz has been closed from November 1 to November 12, and all participants have been asked to gather in pindal (Ijtema ground).
