LAHORE: The ninth death anniversary of legend comedian, producer and director Muhammad Saeed Khan, commonly known as Rangeela, is being observed on Saturday (May 24).
Rangeela was born in 1937 in Afghanistan and started his professional career in 1957 with Urdu film ‘Daata’, and shot to fame with films ‘Surya’ and ‘Gehra Daagh’. He also showed his talent as a musician, singer, lyricist, writer and distributor.
The veteran comedian died of a cradiac arrest in Lahore in 2005 at the age of 68.
