RAWALPINDI: The federal minister for information Pervaiz Rasheed said on Tuesday that the government will strictly tackle characters like the Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) Chief Dr Tahirul Qadri to foil their designs of spreading anarchy in the country.
Talking to the media persons in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, he said that we did not create any hurdles in the return of Dr Tahirul Qadri. However, he added, the law will take its course in the violent incidents that left over 100 police personnel of Islamabad and Punjab police injured.
The information minister said that the PAT chief came to Pakistan on his own will but will leave the country when allowed by the law. He said that on the directions of Dr Tahirul Qadri, workers of his party resorted to violence against the police personnel which is highly regrettable and condemnable.
