KARACHI, Pakistan: The State Bank of Pakistan has said that remittances sent by Overseas Pakistanis in November 2022 recorded an inflow of US$ 2.1 billion, down by 5 percent on month-on-month basis and 14 percent on year-on-year basis.
In October 2022, the Overseas Pakistanis’ remittances were recorded US$ 2.2 billion whereas they stood at US$ 2.5 in November 21.
While the cumulative inflows of remittances from worldwide during the first five months of the Fiscal Year 2023 (July to November) remained US$ 12 billion.
Earlier in July-November 2022, remittances were recorded as US$ 13.3 billion.
