KARACHI, Pakistan: The workers’ remittances recorded the highest ever annual flow of US$ 31.2 billion inflows during the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022, a growth of 6 percent over the last year.
In a statement on Monday, that the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said that as anticipated, remittances sent by the Overseas Pakistanis in FY 2022 rose to a record US$ 31.2 billion which was up 6 percent as compared to FY 2021.
The State Bank said that in June 2022, remittances rose to US$ 2.8 billion, increasing by 18 percent as compared to May 2022 and 2 percent as compared to June 2021.
