LAHORE: Ghayyur Akhtar, a renowned radio, television and film actor, has died in a hospital in Lahore on Friday, sources said.
The sources said that the actor suffered paralysis three years ago and was shifted to hospital last night after his condition deteriorated where the actor could not survive.
Akhtar, who was also honored with pride of performance award, started acting in the late 1970s and became famous during 1980s.
His performances in drama serials such as ‘Khawaja and Sons’ and ‘Sona Chandi’ were highly appreciated.
