KARACHI: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is holding its meeting at Meteorological Complex in Karachi today for sighting Muharram moon while the zonal committees are holding meetings at their respective locations.
The Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman is presiding over the meeting which will decide about the first day of the next Islamic year i.e. Muharram one 1434 Hijra.
The initial reports said that Muharram moon has not been sighted in Islamabad and Lahore.
