Russia and Pakistan jointly counteracting terrorism and drug traffic coming from Afghanistan

Moscow, Russia: Russia and Pakistan have mutual interest in joint counteracting terrorism and drug traffic and both countries work very closely in future to control in the region by control supply from Afghanistan.
This was stated by the Deputy Defence Minister Anatoly Antonov at the meeting with Commander-in-Chief of Pakistan Army General Raheel Sharif, who is heading the Pakistan delegation visiting the Forum “Army-2015”.

According to Defence Ministry statement, Antonov expressed his appreciation to the delegation head for personal participation in the work of the International military and technical forum “Army-2015”.

“Development of constructive relations between our countries is a very important factor of providing security and strengthening regional stability. We are interested in joint counteracting terrorism and drug traffic coming from Afghanistan,” stressed Anatoly Antonov.

He noted that the Russian Defence Ministry highly estimates future military cooperation of two countries.

General Raheel Sharif stressed that he was very impressed with scale of the exhibition and dynamic exposition of Russian armament and military hardware at the Forum “Army-2015”.

“The Russian tank crews are supposed to be the best in the world,” stated he.

“We are ready for developing large-scale cooperation concerning our armies,” resumed Raheel Sharif.

Pakistan delegation head by its Army Chief has a tight schedule of meetings and very actively participating in Army-2015.
