ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday restored the membership of Qaiser Jamal of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the National Assembly from the NA-47 tribal area.
A two-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani issued notices to the concerned parties for reply and adjourned the hearing of the case until two weeks.
The membership of Qaiser Jamal was suspended on May 5 by an election tribunal due to allotment of wrong election symbol.
