ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) said on Friday that pre-monsoon showers will continue in different parts of the country at least for four more days.

Widespread rain/thunderstorm is expected in Upper Sindh‚ Southeastern Balochistan and southern Punjab while at scattered places of Upper/Central Punjab Islamabad‚ Khyber Pakhtunkhwa‚ Southern Sindh‚ Kahsmir and Gilgit-Baltistan on Friday.
The highest temperature of 46 degrees centigrade was recorded in Nokundi and 45 in Daldandin and 44 in Dadu.
The maximum temperature recorded in some major cities was: Islamabad 35 degree centigrade‚ Lahore 32‚ Karachi 38‚ Peshawar 40‚ Quetta 37‚ Murree 24‚ Muzaffarabad 36‚ and Gilgit 38 degree centigrade.
