ISLAMABAD: A special scheme of scholarships for Master level students is being launched in the universities of the South Punjab, the minister of state for education said.
In an interview the Minister of State for Education Baleeghur Rehman said the scheme costing Rs 1 billion will cover the academic and boarding expenses of the students.
Rehman said that PhD students will also be given special scholarships for their studies and research work.
The state minister said consultations are underway with Provincial Chief Ministers to introduce uniform system of education in the country.
