ISLAMABAD: The Benazir International Airport has been cleared after paramilitary soldiers carried out a search operation in the early hours of Saturday, whereas the airport authorities termed the move as a routine search over fear of terrorists attack.
According to reports, heavy contingent of the Rangers sealed all the roads leading to the airport and vacated the parking lot.
The officials also stopped the passengers from going inside the airport.
However, the airport was cleared and the passengers were allowed to enter after the search operation in the morning.
