RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Security forces foiled a possible terrorist activity in Southern Balochistan, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
In a statement on Saturday, the ISPR said that the Security Forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) on a terrorist hideout of a proscribed organization in the Buleda area of Balochistan’s Ketch district.
The ISPR said that a high-value target responsible for killing innocent civilians, extortion, and attacking security forces was killed during the operation.
It said that a large cache of arms and ammunition were also recovered.
However, during the exchange of fire with terrorists, a Pakistan army soldier was injured.
