ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Senate on Monday passed a resolution to establish day-care centers for children of female employees in the federal government institutions.

The resolution was moved by Senator Sitar Ayaz.

Meanwhile, the Senate referred a bill to provide for the rehabilitation and welfare of the un-attended orphan children to business advisory committee of the House.

The bill to provide for the rehabilitation and welfare of the unattended orphan children (The Un-attended Orphans (Rehabilitation and welfare) Bill 2016, was moved by Senator Karim Ahmed Khawaja.
