LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif says PML-N government is taking revolutionary steps to overcome energy crisis in the country.
He was speaking at a meeting with a Turkish delegation in Lahore on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister said serious measures have been taken during the last two months to overcome the energy crisis‚ which has badly affected economic development.
He said that use of solar energy for power generation will be encouraged.
During the meeting‚ the delegation offered to convert the currently installed street lights on solar energy.
