NAROWAL, Pakistan: The Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Friday inaugurated the upgraded District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Narowal, and said it was no less than any Malaysian or Turkish hospital.
While addressing a Ceremony after the inauguration, Shahbaz Sharif said the political leadership especially Ahsan Iqbal along with the Punjab government had worked exceptionally hard to make DHQ Narowal phenomenal.
“I thank the team of Narowal DHQ for establishing a great hospital,” he said.

The Chief Minister said the Minister & Secretary Primary & Secondary Healthcare were responsible for such a grand revamp in DHQs across Punjab.
Shahbaz Sharif said a special ward had been established for jail inmates in Narowal DHQ. He said same quality healthcare facilities were provided to them as well.
The Punjab Chief Minister said CT Scan machine would become operational today in Narowal DHQ. “This service will be available 24/7,” he said.
“All CT Scans will be sent to the control center in Lahore where the specialist radiologist will diagnose scans and recommend.”
Furthermore, he said Pakistan Kidney & Liver Hospital was a state of the art hospital. He said its network had been expanded across Punjab DHQs with the establishment of Hepatitis Filter Clinic. He said those Clinics screened the patients free of cost and provide free medicines.
Shahbaz Sharif also said Punjab had invested billions of rupees in establishing power plants, and today Punjab was adding 5000MW electricity into the national grid.
Earlier Shahbaz Sharif visited Phagwari (Shakargarh) to offer Fateha for the Shaheed Lance Naik Shahid Minhas who got martyred in unprovoked firing by Indian troops at the Working Boundary.
