MUMBAI: Shahrukh Khan stepped out of his car at Mumbai airport to be greeted by fans and even as his bodyguards had a tough time keeping fans at bay (they had to be especially careful because of SRK’s shoulder injury) the superstar’s cool style statement in his simple white tee, blue denims and shoulder sling could not be missed.
Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif both sported the clean faced look, but Dippy certainly fared better than Kat where style was concerned. Katrina played the boring casual card yet again in ill-fitted track pants and long-sleeved T, all in doom-gloom black. Deepika, on the other hand, wore grey denims and casual black Oxford shoes and glowed; she had her little sister Anisha by her side.
Madhuri Dixit chose to add a dash of colour to her black travel outfit with a bright red jacket and blingy bag – the fresh faced dhak dhak girl did make a pretty picture!
Others we spotted at the airport included Mika showing off his trademark pose, Pam Chopra blooming with flower power and R Balki and Sushant Singh Rajput playing the perfect gentlemen to their ladies Gauri Shinde and Ankita Lokhande. Academy award-winner Resul Pookutty and Zayed Khan were also en route to IIFA; ZK will celebrate his birthday at Macau this year, but his family was not traveling with him.
